Perhaps the best way to stop this administration's maniacal policies is to go straight after the madman himself, particularly via his bizarre relationship to Russia.
Trump's campaign and personal connections to Russia stink to high hell - I'm pulling together a primer on it now, it reads like a dystopian novel but it's all verifiable and true - and we've got to keep hammering him on this issue. It's already taken down Trump's first National Security Advisor (in three weeks!) and it can take down this presidency too - with just the little bit we know thus far, this thing is easily worse than Watergate.
According to sources, the Senate Intelligence Committee is looking into Trump's Russia connections [link]. The committee is 8-to-7 Republicans; however, two of the R's are the moderate Susan Collins, and Marco Rubio, who probably doesn't have a lot of love for the guy who spent 2016 calling him "Liddle Marco." Also, the Chair Richard Burr (NC), and another R member, Roy Blunt (MO) have both talked about investigating Trump [link].
Here's the Action: Call or email Chuck Schumer to call for a Senate Intelligence Committee investigation into Trump's Russian ties.
Dear Senator Schumer,
As Michael Flynn's resignation makes clear, Donald Trump has deep and dangerous ties with Russia. I ask you to make sure that the Senate Democrats on the Intelligence Committee continue to aggressively probe Trump's connections with Russia during the campaign, and his communication with Russia since the election. If the President has a conflict of interest, because he owes money to a foreign government or because he is in any way compromised by them, the American public needs to know about it.
Thank you for your strong advocacy on this matter. Sincerely,
Schumer's contact info: https://www.schumer.senate.gov/contact/email-chuck; DC office: (202) 224-6542; NYC office: (212) 486-4430; fax: (202) 228-2838; twitter: @SenSchumer
Also, California folks: both of your Senators sit on the Senate Intelligence Committee. Reach out to them! Here is their info:
Diane Feinstein: http://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/e-mail-me ;
DC office: (202) 224-3841; SF office: (415) 393-0707; Fax: (202) 228-3954;
Kamala Harris: https://www.harris.senate.gov/content/contact-senator;
DC office: (202) 224-3553; SF office: (415) 355 - 9041; Fax: (202) 224 - 0454
And if you have friends or family in any of the states where members of the Intelligence Committee reside - see below, NC, FL, and Mizzou are most important - have them reach out to their Senator as well.
1. Richard Burr (R-NC), Chairman
2. James Risch (R-ID)
3. Marco Rubio (R-FL)
4. Susan Collins (R-ME)
5. Roy Blunt (R-MO)
6. James Lankford (R-OK)
7. Tom Cotton (R-AR)
8. John Cornyn (R-TX)

Believe it or not, Trump is unpopular but not horribly unpopular, at least not yet. If more Russia stuff comes out, his administration could be wholly knocked off course. This isn't the last Russian action we'll do. As always, we'd love your feedback - shoot me a note with any thoughts or suggestions.
